September 29 - Sy Smith & Zo!

Zo! is a multi-talented musician out of Detroit whose masterful production work is now seeing him play alongside Emmy nominated singer/songwriter Sy Smith. As a teenager, Zo! was drafted by Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays, but chose to attend Western Kentucky University and then pursue a career in music. He emphasizes live instrumentation as a blueprint for his music and will be accompanying the soulful tones of Sy Smith. Smith’s track, “Welcome Back” earned her an Emmy nomination for outstanding music and lyrics. Her decade plus music career has seen her record numerous critically acclaimed albums and collaborations. She is also a NAACP recognized actress for her roles in If You Don’t Believe: A Love Story, and Body Language. This soulful collaboration has been touring across the US to rave reviews and feedback.
