Sidewalk Chalk returns to Lola for a third time! The Chicago based group is a fusion of hip-hop, jazz, and soul that feeds the mind and gets the crowd moving. Sidewalk Chalk is composed of an emcee and a singer; a trio of keys, bass, and drums; and a horn section of a trumpet and trombone. Oh yeah, they also have a tap dancer...

They've crossed the stage with the likes of J*Davey, ?uestlove, Georgia Ann Muldrow, Jazzanova, and Talib Kweli, and their live shows excite crowds and critics alike. They earned recognition as Chicago Reader’s "Best hip-hop in Chicago, 2010" and are an act that can't be missed.

Opening will be local soul vixen, Tiffany Elle, with her live band, as well as the ever-funky fresh Lamar Harris & Thelonius Kryptonite.
