King Britt, his name from birth, is crowned royalty of Philadelphia; a multi-talented artist, King’s strong cross-genre abilities have led him to work in deep house, hip-hop, broken beat, nu-jazz, funk, and afro-tech alongside legendary artists ranging from Sun Ra to De La Soul. After touring with Grammy award winning band Digable Planets, he helped foster revolutionary development in his hometown's music community through his work as a DJ, producer and label owner. His legendary remixing and production skills have been on display for over 20 years all around the world. This show will see King perform with St. Louis staples, The Mo E Allstars for a unique live instrumentation/DJ collaboration that is sure to bring the rain.
